“If the Church is the body of Christ, then for me it’s true that I have not seen a more powerful extension of the Church than a high-functioning men’s small group.
Via men’s groups like ours, relationships are built, trust developed and bonding occurs as men grow in areas such as studying God’s word, serving the community with service projects, and outreach.
These bonds can last a lifetime, and in my experience, become needed strength when challenges arise from health, family, aging parents and life.
Dismissing the brief awkward feeling I had during the 13’s startup phase and focusing on getting to know the other members, now considered my brothers, was one of the smartest and most mature decisions I have ever made.”
