This fall, for five weeks starting on 9/14 and concluding on 10/12, Jim Stern will lead the Men of Chapelwood in a study about personal discipleship.

For this study, dinner will be offered for $15 per person and available by reservation starting at 7:00 P.M.

For over 20 years I have been making disciples of Jesus – one person, one step, one issue at a time. Through many failures, experiments, and victories, I have learned vital truths needed to effectively love and train God’s people to experience personal freedom and multiply in others. I have a Master’s Degree in Divinity w/Biblical Languages and have pastored since 1999. My most significant ministry joy is co-laboring in the Spirit to see our Father’s children set free in clarity and confidence to go and make disciples of others.

Man Stuff Ministry 2022 South Texas Dove Hunt

This is an all-Inclusive hunt scheduled September 16-18, 2022.
The Dove Hunt is open to ALL men 16 years of age and older.
This is a Christian event.
ACCOMODATIONS:
-We will be staying in a condominium complex in Concan, Tx. We will be the
only group in the complex. The condos are all 2 bedroom, 2 bath condos.
-Bed linens and pillows are provided but towels are not included. There is a
really nice swimming pool and a sand volleyball court. The complex is located
about 5 miles from Garner State Park and right near the Frio River. We will
have easy access to the Frio, there are tons of fun things to do there.
-All meals from Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast are included. This will
include coffee with breakfast both mornings.
-All the rooms will be stocked with snacks and non-alcoholic
drinks. Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks will also be provided all
weekend. NOTE: No alcoholic drinks will be provided. Guns and alcohol don’t
mix well, and drunkenness will not be tolerated.
-We will have a guest speaker Friday night and a live band will play during
dinner. We will have also another live band and guest speaker on Saturday
night with dinner as well.
HUNTING DETAILS
-We will be hunting opening weekend of South Zone, just south of Uvalde,
TX. Uvalde is about 30 miles from where we will be staying.
-All guide fees are included in the price and the tip for the guides is also
included in the price. The guides will clean and bag your birds for you as
well. Saturday morning and evening hunts as well as Sunday morning and
evening hunts are included in the price. Friday hunts are available but are
not included in the package.
This will be an awesome weekend of fellowship, great hunting and lots of fun!

Reid Ryan is a sports executive and founder and CEO of Ryan Sanders Baseball. Ryan is credited with the idea of creating the Round Rock Express and Corpus Christi Hooks Baseball Clubs, both industry leaders in minor league baseball.

Ryan served as president for the Houston Astros from 2013-2019. In his tenure as the club’s president the Astros appeared in the World Series twice, winning the title in 2017. He also played a significant role in the opening of the Astros Spring Training facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, the renovation of the new center field area at Minute Maid Park, as well as the securing of the Astros Class A-Advanced affiliate in Fayetteville, North Carolina, which included the construction of a new ballpark.

Ryan also serves as a director and organizer of R Bank alongside his brother Reese. He is a board member and shareholder for Nolan Ryan Brands, which owns Nolan Ryan Beef.
He also currently serves as an advisory board member for Spring Spirit.

Ryan and his wife, Nicole, are the proud parents of one son, Jackson, and two daughters, Victoria, and Ella.
