Transforming Men Through Jesus Christ In Authentic, Weekly Fellowship In Discipleship

Habitat Build Days:

May 11thhttps://wkf.ms/3uZZPx7

May 18thhttps://wkf.ms/3wyVUrA

June 1sthttps://wkf.ms/49SUypU

Pertinent details:

  1. On Habitat's signup form is a link to their release which all participants are required to sign.
  2. Participants will also need to execute an Archdiocese/Parish release. I have attached that. Your leader will have to collect those in hard copy and ensure that all participants have executed one.
  3. Minors must be 16 years or older to participate. A minor participant Archdiocese/Parish release is attached
  4. Work hours are 7:50 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The 7:50 start allows time for a blessing and some assembly before starting work. If the group wants to recruit a priest or deacon to say the blessing before start of work, they can do that. If they do that, they should coordinate with Habitat so a minister from another church doesn't also show up. I can help with that coordination.
  5. Habitat's signup says lunch is provided. Sometimes we have provided lunches, other groups have provided lunches for everyone and Habitat has provided lunches, we can monitor that closer to the date to see how it plays out. I don't like to lean too much on Habitat to provide lunches since they are the receiving charity.
  6. In the past, the build locations have been in the area of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church 715 Carrell St and nearby Foster Street in Tomball. The actual work and address will be fluid depending on the weather impacts on the work leading up to our work days.
