Helps those in need, shine God’s light through service, and share FIND with men who are seeking the Lord throughout the Houston area. Through hands-on outreach, the Service & Outreach Committee creates meaningful opportunities to serve the local Houston community by partnering with local churches and community organizations, engaging men to serve individually or together as a ministry, and responding quickly and faithfully to urgent or unexpected needs. These efforts include a major annual service project for all FIND groups, ongoing local partnerships, improved readiness for rapid response, and exploration of international service opportunities aligned with FIND’s mission.

Annual Day of Service (ADOS)

The Annual Day of Service (ADOS) is FIND’s primary, ministry-wide service initiative. This one-day event brings all FIND groups together to serve a local community partner and is typically held in mid-October. ADOS unites FIND men in a shared act of service and outreach. Past beneficiaries have included Family Point Resources and the Outreach Center of West Houston.

Planned Service Opportunities

Planned service events address ongoing community needs and are often identified through relationships FIND members have with churches and local partners. These opportunities allow FIND men to serve alongside existing ministries and build long-term partnerships.

Examples include FIND’s annual volunteer day at the East Spring Branch Food Pantry, traditionally held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and partnerships with organizations such as Fuente Food Pantry.
